The Great Curiodyssey is the name of our adventure. You might say we’re chasing (following? pursuing?) our curiosities on our own sort of odyssey all around North America.
Homer is the name of our camper. It’s a 2014 Little Guy [email protected] teardrop that we fell in love with when we first saw it.
We are Marc & Sarah. We were set up on a blind date in college in 1999 and got married in 2003. After college we lived in Iowa where Marc worked at a music store while Sarah went to Physician Assistant school at the University of Iowa.
At the end of 2009 (December 31st in fact) we dropped everything, left our jobs, and moved with our dogs to Loveland, Colorado. Marc started selling real estate and Sarah continued working as a PA in Fort Collins.
We started exploring the idea of long-term travel in 2015, and we’ve decided to make that dream become a reality. We’re not sure what to expect from this adventure, but that’s kind of the point. No expectations. No agenda. No destination.
In his Tao Te Ching, Lao Tzu wrote, “A good traveler has no fixed plans and is not intent upon arriving.” That fits us perfectly.
